I have a problem i hade recentley changed my waste gate because the other was in bad condition when i changed then the new was gate was stock closed and i could get past 30 pounds of boost and would spoole realy fast, well 15 min later as iwas trying the new gate it started to lage alot more and then i lost my 30 pounds it was gradeuel but all i can get know is 20 pounds my wasteg gate is un hooked now and then line in pinch, the waste gate is also closed all the way HELP plez i need that ofer 30 and that spool bad,

 

Sounds like the wastegate is now stuck open. Unhook the actuator, get some penetrating lube and hose the shaft down real good, then start trying to work the lever back and forth. You'll get it freed up eventually.

 

Did you check to see if you have an exhaust leak off the manifold. Even a small one can cause a big loss of boost.

 

have to the waste gate off and wired the gate closed and still no change, could i posebly not have all of the plugs pluged that that go to the afc houseing

 

on my 98 12v i found a bolt that fit really tight were i could barly get it in and stuck it in the hose that goes to the wastegate and im pushin about 42-45psi.
