I heard a weird noise from my turbo about 4 times in the last month. Tonight I heard it pulling a trailer. In 4th gear right around 1200 EGT's it sounded like the turbo barked or stumbled? Everytime I have hear the noise I was under load.

Suggestions?

If you let off the throttle, it was the turbo down spooling causing the "bark"

1200 EGT's. It was right when I was shifting from 4th to 5th on a very slight incline.... As soon as I shifted the EGT's where at 950.

Yes, it does.....

 

That's just the normal turbo huffing you get under load - no worries (it means you're making boost! )
