Hi People,<br>Got a question. :'( As I've said before, I'm brand new to this diesel world and really love the truck. I bought this 1995 Ram Lariat SLT 4x4 Automatic standard cab, about 2 months ago. I am noticing a whistle sound at start up and sometimes even at a stoplight. I am thinking that it must be the turbo, BUT, since I have never had a turbo before, I'm at a loss. Is this anything to worry about? Would appreciate any and all help.<br>Thanks<br>Grampaw Bill 8)

Grampa, I am not sure what sound you are describing, but the fan is clutch mounted and it comes on and off at different times. It will almost sound like a turbo spooling up when it starts. I hear this in mine at stop lights, perhaps this is what you are hearing. If so, not a thing in the world to worry about!
