Hey...<br>Well our truck seems to be acting up quite often.<br>Its a 00 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel, 2 w/d, 5 speed<br>It seems like the fuel is getting clogged up or something.<br>Every now and then, I'll be driving it and it'll just die on me, whether its 20 mph or 70 mph<br>For a reason, I know that its not getting fuel... and when it dies on me, it takes it a couple of shots to get it started up again... and I have to turn the key over and hold it and pump on the gas pedal a bit to get it started again... but when it doesn't die after I kill the engine, then it just starts right up<br>Today I came home from school, about 4 miles, and it died on me like 7 times... its been doing this for about a month now<br><br>Maybe its sucking air around the fuel filter? or maybe even bad fuel?<br>Any help might help me out a bit<br>Thanks,<br>~'Cody'~

 

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, it sounds like you may have lost your lift pump.

 

I'll second that diagnosis.
