Truck died
Mexstan, Jetpilot was selling a CP3, not sure if it's still for sell but I'm sure Doug will try to help you out if he can. Hope it helps.

Thanks for all the help so far. Just wanted to update any of you that are following this saga. I am still waiting for the new pump as there was a glitch in shipping it. Not happy with the company in Houston that I bought it from. Hopefully it should be here on Wednesday.
I have the old pump already off and everything prepared for the new pump.

Good luck Mexstan! Hopefully a new pump will get you on the road again! Sure sounds like you've covered all the bases as far as a diagnosis goes. In one way I hope it fixes it, and in another I don't ! I haven't heard of any CP3's dying, and if that's the case, I may be considering a reman for mine.......just in case.......maybe even gettting it modded! You know.....just for added piece of mind

The rest of the story ...........
The new injector pump finally arrived and I installed it yesterday. Bled the lines and then cranked it over. It cranked maybe four times longer than normal and then it ran with no missing or roughness. Drove it only about 50 miles today and it appears to run perfectly. Problem solved. It was the injector pump after all. The unanswered questions is; why did it fail so early?
I am still really annoyed at the pump supplier in Houston. Their handling of the shipping really sucked and cost me many days of waiting plus the way they did it, cost me a lot more.
I want to thank everybody that tried to help. Particular thanks go to vzdude for his invaluable help.

Howdy Stan!
Glad you got that nice looking truck running again. Maybe the pump failure was caused by that cheap diesel down there.
I'm sure that at $4.70/gal around here we'll never have pump problems again.
Tell that purdy little wife I said hello.

Yes there is. Now I have to find a way to get it back to Houston. I am very curious myself. If I can find a local place that I trust to rebuild/repair it, I may just have them do that and forego the core charge and keep this one as a spare.
Any help is appreciated !!
hello I have a 2004 ram 2500 5.9 cummins it an early 04.. automatic, and I am getting two codes of which are in this thread they are p0107 manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit low , and p0073 ambient air temp sensor circuit high, and i cannot find the issue the truck fires right up and runs the only issue I had was the torque converter cooler went bad but I caught it before it wrecked the trans or anything so its fine but I am still getting these codes and I cant erase them they come right back instantly... ??? I have noticed a knocking noise with these two codes but I am slowly trying to find that as well .. inplan on overhauling the bottom end and refreshing the top end but like i said there's no blowby at all!! And it fires right up.. boost is good .. for stock turbo.. so any help is greatly appreciated from you guys and girls
thanks in advance
