check the fluid leave, but if it's low, it had to go somewhere. I would just get a new uint (slave/master) and put it on. the last one I bought from the dealer was $190. Most are giving around $220 though. There's no good way to bleed them. and if it has air in it, there's something wrong with it.

It sounds like you've got air in the system if you need to pump it up. You said its brand new - right? I would think that you would need to bleed the system - but that might not be an option. I didn't see anything about it in the Maintenance manual.

Blackdiesel, from your comment about "no good way to bleed them", does that mean that the clutch fluid is a lifetime fill until something breaks and is replaced?

My clutch fluid is almost 5 years old and I've been thinking about changing it out when I change out the brake fluid. Guess I need to crawl under the truck and take a look.

FWIW, I changed out the brake/clutch fluid on the motorcycle this past weekend and the braking improvement was noticeable. Fluid was 7 years old.

Did you buy both slave and master? I thought the dealer only sold a sealed unit. The best way to bleed it is to take off the slave and push the rod in and out to pump the air out the master. And no there is no way I would change the fluid the this unit for the fun of it.
