no wait to start light, truck runs rough
my wait to start light does not come on. my truck in a 1999 dodge 24v. I changed the relays that go to the intake heater and the wait to start light still does not come on. Anyone else had this problem. Could it be the intake heater itself? thanks.

My wait to start light goes out occassionally. You might try this. What I have found brings it back is the following procedure. I was told that this procedure resets the ecm.
Key off, remove positive battery cables (both of them), turn key on (just like as if it were running), replace the positive battery cables (while the key is on), you will get a few small sparks at the cable/s when you hook them back up to the terminal. Tighten them down. Turn key off.
It must be the positive cables you remove, and the key must be on when you hook them back up. Then start truck as normal.
