IS MY TRACBAR GOING OUT?
IS MY TRACBAR GOING OUT?
This is what happnes:
When I am driving down the road at 70mph, and I turn my wheel slightly to the left, I move left. But when I turn it slightly to the right, it jerks right. This is not such a major jerk that It would cause me to loose control if I wasnt paying attention, but it is definatly not normal.
Is it time for a Lukes Link?

Re:IS MY TRACBAR GOING OUT?
Easy enough to check it out. Just crawl under and have someone else turn the wheel slightly back and forth, engine off. You shouldn't see any movement in ends of the bar, drivers side is the most prone to wear out. While you're at it check where the pitman arm attaches to the steering box, it should be staying centered, not moving side to side. If it's moving consider one of Daren's steering stabilizers.

if the track bar is bad you mite want to look at installing a DT track bar......http://www.dtprofab.com/dodge.htm
