High Idle help.

High Idle help.

My high idle isn't working on my truck and I have called several dodge dealers about turning it on and they don't seem to have a clue....Can I turn it on with a Snap-on Scan tool....Help I am cold ....

I think you need a Star Scan tool to do it but......if you can find somebody around you with a Smarty........

If someone loaned you a smarty...would the high idle be disabled once the smarty was unloaded (VIN unlocked I think is the term) and the Smarty returned to who you borrowed it from?

Tell the dealer you are having problems with the heat and cold cab issues. I think there is a bulletin out on that. That is how I had to get my dealer to understand and enable the high idle.

Contacted a few more dealers and still the idiots are clueless...even called a performance shop that sell diesel performance shop and they are clueless...
