Help did I get the wrong size fuel filter

Help did I get the wrong size fuel filter

Okay I got the old filter out totally black but the new filter is way smaller in diameter should I just push it on seems tight on the shaft. part number from FS19598 from piers told them it was for a 98 12V what gives, its getting late and dark need to get it done, what other brand should I use???

opps nevermind it popped right on top diameter seems fine

A filter from a 99 is different than an 01, cause I changed my filter and the filter on my friends 01 an they were quite a bit different. Just a thought, but sounds like you got it.
