Diff cover off...did I get wrong lube

I pulled my diff cover to change lube and noticed that I bought valvoline full syn 75w 90 instead of mobil 1 in same weight. Is valvoline on par w/the mobil products or should i find a ride and go return? The dealer was trying to sell me their mopar brand in same weight because it has special additives for the AAM. Just want to see if valv ok to use. Thanks.

Valvoline is great. Any GL-5 Rated synthetic 75w90 oil is fine.

Thanks Texas. I think too much reading on this forum has made me paranoid!

2nd what Texas CTD said... The manual says 75W90 full synthetic GL-5. As long as the Valvoline meets that, it should be fine.
