Angry Front differential vent line

Yesterday I had a Revtech 2" leveling kit installed along with a new set of tires. Today when I got home from work I realized that the front differential vent line was hanging underneath the truck. I looked to no availl as it got dark. I have it tied up but would really like to install it in the proper spot. Can any help?

Thanks in advance.

so is it hanging off the truck or the axle?

if it hangs from the truck then there should be a vent nipple on top of the diff/axle some where.

if it hangs from the axle it should be tied up in the engine compartment back by the fire wall, I think??? could be by the drivers side battery too.
I just cant remember for sure.

Mine is up by the pass side of the firewall. It has a zip tie on it though so this may not be the right spot.

It was hanging from the differential down to the ground.

If I remember correctly, it clips onto the inside of the passenger side wheelwell . I'm at work so I can't check right now. Maybe someone else will verify it.

Why don't you get a longer tube and tie it up as high as you can anywhere inside the engine compartment, as long as it is not tight as to pull off when the axle moves? This way when you cross that 4' deep river you won't fill the differential with water.

Most of them I've seen are under the factory airbox a little towards the firewall.
