Several years ago the Flying J refinerey in Utah got a bunch of diesel mixed in with gasoline, and the mixture was delivered to their stations as gasoline before it was discovered. The mixture supposedly causes fuel pump issues, and they had to pay for a number of replacements. It was also said at the time that it could substantially shorten the life of the vehicles fuel pump if nothing was discovered at the initial fillup.
I'm not suggesting a fuel pump replacement, just something to be aware of.
And on the lighter side, knew a guy put diesel in his fuel injected motorcycle, didn't start it before he discovered it. Called the dealer and had it towed to the shop. He was ****** 'cuz they charged him, he thought it should be covered under warranty.
