Bad mojo...

Happy Thanksgiving all!
I have my brother on the phone with an immediate issue:
2001 Dodge RAM 2500 4WD, 5.9 Cummins, Std Trans, 25,000 miles
Turn the key on, run pre-heat, start engine, ABS and Engine lights on all the time, everything else on the dash panel is "dead". The PCM was replaced approx. 1 year ago.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
g

has he checked for codes with the key trick on, off three times leaving it on the 3rd time? if his odometer is not working he need to check fuses (under the hood and side of the dash)

That happened to me but the pannel was completely dead. The fuse fell out that controls the dash panel.. Put it back in and away I went.. Does the truck run even tho the panel doesnt work? Like Blackdiesel said have him check the cides with the "key trick"...

The truck does run, the odometer does work but no P-codes are listed. All of the fuses have been checked. Any other ideas? It's going into the shop on Tuesday. Thanks, g

another thing to check are the connection on the rear of the cluster. they could be dirty. never had a problem in any of my rams. but it did happen to my dakota

blackdiesel : i got mine just over a year ago with 24k. just dont ask me how much is on it now! but yeah not too many with that little miles on them!
