Mojo in the Philippines

A friend of mine was in the Navy and was stationed for a time in the Philippines.
He is looking to find the recipe for a drink that was made in a five gallon bucket and was called Mo Jo.
Knowing that many of the DTR family have been in the Military I thought that some of you might remember the drink and recall the amounts of the ingredients.
Thanks

2.5 gallons of Mo plus 2.5 gallons of Jo; heat to 350 degrees and stir occasionally for three hours...

Why in the world does he want to drink that stuff again? For old times sake? lol; {shudder}

When you cross the "line of forgetfullness" on the way home you're not supposed to remember stuff like that. In any event, I don't think there was any strict recipe for Mojo - but more like a PI trashcan. While you're at it helping him with rekindling his past, look up balut.

Many folks can tell you stories about what San Miguel beer in the PI does to you. I'm still trying to forget.....

I told him that I new a lot of deranged old goats that finding a recipe that involved alcohol would not be a problem. Thanks for not letting me down.

He did not want to make a batch, just trying to remember what it was that almost killed him a few times.

I didn't think there was a recipe for mojo as well. It was usually just whatever was brought and ended up in the can, at least with us Seabees.
