No Mojo and p0243 code.
I have a juice with attitude with the hot program. My truck right now is a guttless wonder that will only hit about 15psi of boost. The 0243 code is a Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A malfunction. Now I think I have most of my problem solved............. This wastegate solenoid must be malfunctioning. Do I just replace the solenoid? Is it actualy connected to the wastegate that could be sticking? Smash something with a hammer? Dealership to clear a code?

I think TST has a plug in for the solenoid wire to the wastegate or some of the aftermarket turbo companies should....BD is closer to you than most...call them. ks

Thanks for the tip! The dodge dealer wants 258 for the wastegate solenoid. I would rather put that 258 towards a whole new turbo! I was hoping there would be some way to smash the stock solenoid and wire something else in!

You might get lucky like I did. The wire to the wastegate soleniod had actually rubbed through on the side of the solenoid housing. I just repaired the wire. Could not solder it for the life of me. It was like the wires were steel or something! I think that price was from the criminals @ FSJ. Where are you from?

yea i just finally got back home from working and i checked out my truck and yea it does have the p0243 code but i took it for a drive and was wondering if it should have been sluggish or somthing from low boost but it seemed to have a fair amount of boost..my outlook will be back from being repaired in a couple days so untill then i have nothing to see how my boost numbers are and i was also wondering about the wire if it is jst the damaged wire can it just be sliced back together and taped up or does it have to be soldered back together thanks for the help

Matt,
I am no electrician, and had the solenoid out on the table and could not solder this particular wire. So all I did was used a regular red crimping wire connector and then taped the connection and then covered with silicone. Good luck.
