P0243 code

I have an 04 1/2 with an intermittent code P0243 wastegate solenoid valve problem. The dealership isn't sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Same P0243 code with the P0480 also. Totally stock truck. I have put on an EGT and Boost gauge but that is all.

Scared of the dealer so need to fix it myself, is it possible?

I will look for a rubbed wire tomorrow when I have light to see for the 243 code.

On edit: I do have a Pacbrake PXRB.

Mine also went away and I didn't find any problems with the wiring.

The codes you have are a waste gate solenoid circuit and cooling fan circuit. You can Google fault codes, by going to Google, type in the code and put DTC behind it. Hope this helps.

code p0243

Sometimes if the problem is not the wires its the sol. its self getting carboned up . Just take it off and clean it with a electrical cleaner .
