Exclamation '03 dodge 2500 4x4. front wheels clicking, knocking

the front wheels on the truck are clicking, clacking, knocking, making a really horrible noise. the ride of the truck has not been affected yet. was told by an individual that it might be the front wheel hubs. anyone have any suggestions it would be great. thanks.

it could maybe be a bushing in your control arms...I don't really think so...but it IS an idea.

Is it more of a clicking than anything else? It could be your wheel bearings.

Jack up one or both wheels and give it a spin, it should be easy to see what the cause is.

u-joints, ball joints, tie rod ends, something in steering components, or shocks could be shot.

best thing to do is jack it up and do the wiggle test.
