Will 2003-07 dodge 2500 wheels fit on 1998.5 dodge 2500?
I found a guy that is willing to sell 4 2003-07 dodge 2500 wheels and tires for cheap. they are 8 lug 17" wheels with michelin tires with only 700 miles on them. i have a 1998.5 dodge 2500 with 16" wheels and am wondering if they will fit. i have been told they will fit, and then again i have been told that they might rub the brake caliper and drum. does anybody know if they will work? i hate to pass this deal up, you cant even buy bicycle tires this cheap.
Thanks for the help,
Joe

They fit fine. But depending on the tire size you run, the tires may rub at full lock, because of the backspacing. They came on my truck when I bought it and the 315's do rub a little. But they do look good, so I'll probably keep them and just get used to it.

I'm not sure about the size but you will want a set of spacers because the width on the 3rd generation wheels on a 2nd is narrower than the stock wheels on both trucks.

i put them on and they work fine, they dont rub or anything. they just look like they are sitting to far in, so i am trying to get some spacers to bring them back out to where they are suppose to be. the only thing is i will have to get longer studs to make the spacers work. i have searched the internet all day and cant find anything on the studs. i have found spacers but not longer studs (i dont even know what size to look for). any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

05 wheels on a 97
I found a very similar deal with factory 05's 265/70/17's and they fit great. I have no rubbing what so ever. Hopefully I can find a new set of tires in the 17" size that won't break my wallet compared to the 16" size. From what I have been seeing there is some difference in price, but I still have 10k left on these tires, so we will see when I get there.
