You guys with "twins" or other mods

This will probably sound kind of stupid but here goes.

My truck is COMPLETELY stock as far as engine goes (mainly because I need just under one year to afford to be my own warranty company ) I can be driving 65-70mph and hit the go pedal and be at 95mph in what seems like a little more than a blink of an eye!!! The turbo lights and it is game on I think a 7000lbs+ truck doing this is AWESOME. I know it is hard to describe in writing, but just how bad Admin EDIT is it for you guys with twins and/or other go fast goodies???
I have driven and built a few drag cars and hot rods but don't think they would really compare to the feeling you get doing the same thing in a big truck. So just how does it feel or compare?

My future plans are for twins and the related parts to make it all happen. I love DWiggs set up.

Its all what your used too. My buddies stock 05 CTD/auto feels peppy if i got out of my car(4cyl stratus). It feels slow if i got out of my truck.Highway roll ons are where i think the stock trucks are sluggish. Most stock trucks wont hold top gear (TC locked) uphill with 12K behind it.Mine does

Well mine is a little laggy from a stop light with no power brake 4wd launch, but I have stayed with or left just about anything on the highway from 70-110 mph. It is scarry how quick it is in that range. No slouch from any roll if any boost is already there, usually will just boil tires if not careful.

Coming from an evolution

From an F250 idi with 150 horses or so truck to just about plum over three times that in power on my 96, i can agree with RamWheelsby4 and everyone else on here, U drive a stock diesel and u cant even hack it, These trucks with their power are insane, and will leave you wanting more....

Gassers have their power in the first two or three gears, diesels will light their chargers they just keep on pulling, pulling, and pulling, Its just unreal..

Once u start to BOMB, there is no cure..

Twins are there to provide air for those with a lot more fuel, the same start up acceleration you have.

After you get your 7500 lb truck moving... just picture it accelerating 2 or 3 times as rapidly!

Thanks for the replies. I have had the "itch" to start bombing but must force myself to wait a little longer. I have already beat many gassers along with a few camaros, mustangs and euros but need to "pick and choose" who I mess with. I can't wait to not worry about what somebody else might have. As for towing, even in stock form I have more power than I will probably ever need to tow my toys. This being my first diesel, I have to say that I am HOOKED.

Keep the comments comming!!

The nice thing about twins is. It pull from start all the way to the top. And when you spank some little sport car the look on there face is priceless.

The best part is beating down vehicles that think you have no change against them.

Just had hat happen to a mustang last week. The guy pulled over and gave me the thumbs up so i pulled in. He had a hundred questions. Just could not belive a 4x4 quad cab just smoked his butt in more ways than one . He told me when that thing went by at 60mph and was spining the tires i knew it was over. He mentioned the twins under the hood make a very scary sound he was in fear of getting sucked in. He was also glad no one was with him to see his a## handed back to him.
