Why does the 6.0L have problems?

the big three warrenty problems were egr-injectors-head bolts .they are horrible to work on.the man hours to do most jobs are two to four times what the same job on a CTD would be.

so what...i'm not sure which is worse, ford or international. i used to work at an oil company and maintained a fleet of over 100 international oil trucks. junk, all of them, every single one. head gasket problems, internal coolant leakage problems, oil leaks everywhere, horrific electronics, so on, so forth. they finally brightened up, and bought a few new Internationals, but they had Cat engines, so they ended up with a junk truck that would run a long time.

i agree, i think the 6.0s sound horrible, who wants to listen to all that whistle; its not even good whistle, it sounds like a refferee choking at a soccer game

That 6.0 in the video does sound good, but not like a diesel. I would not even park my truck next to one of those pieces of junk.
