Someone else on here has it in thier sig. I have no idea which one of us used it first, but go ahead..........it's true. My company truck is one, and I hate it - not that the truck itself is bad, but I keep wondering when that engine is going to really leave me in a predicament.

At my work, we don't have any of the 6.0's, but we do have several 7.3's. Our problems are ALLWAYS the trannies. Oh yeah, glow plug system, cooling systems, etc, etc. We did give up buying them. The last several medium trucks have been GMC's with the Duramax. Much better motor and tranny combo. Too bad Dodge/Cummins didn't build a 4500 or a 5500.......

Go to www.thedieselstop.com, take a couple of hours reading posts in the 6.0L section. I think it'll become obvious. This topic has been covered so many times, on so many pages, on and on and on. Do a search here, you can also find out more.

When I was a kid, my pop had this kicking sticker on his tool box:

"I'd rather push my Chevy than drive a Ford"

Heck, he still has it. Someday, it'll be mine, then my boy's.......
