what color bars do you think would look the best on my rig. thanks for the help

 

I put black on my silver truck.

 

I think black would look good...

 

Chrome on a SLT or Laramie with chrome bumpers. Black on a sport model without any other chrome.

That's exactly my way of thinking.
I put the black Westin step bars on my 99 Sport cuase the only things chrome were the rims, plus I didn't want them to stand out too much.



Dad's is 2wd like mine and he opted for the black and stainless running boards which I think look really great on his truck.



I think the Stainless bars would look good on yours. I think I would shy away from chrome due to the fact that once the elements work on chrome and they start to rust, there's not much you can do with them. At least you can repaint the black ones and Stainless you shouldn't have to worry at all about.

I'm thinkin' Rollin'Smoke's rig would still look better with the Stainless unless he puts one of them big black "Cow-Catchers" on the front like you got.

 

Obviously I wasn't
And stop doing this to me: my head hurts.

But that is normal. I need to go change my nerf bars now.

Nah, we haven't had a single chrome piece rust in the oil patch. Scratch it and even the black one's will rust out. Can't afford non-magnetic stainless.

Yeah,,, I need to pull my black ones off and give em a cleaning and a couple coats of B-B-Q black because I've got a few places showing some rust underneath after 7 years.

 

i had the n-fabs on my chevy crew cab and they were great. only thing I didnt like about them was they got scratched up real easy.

 

When I got my 05, dealer asked "What can I do to get you in that truck today?"
I said throw in a set of running boards.
They said pick the ones you want.
I went with black Mopar ones.
