Cummins beat by Rabbit

came across this a few minutes ago.

kid claims to have beaten a CTD in a non turbo VW Rabbit. all the rabbit has done to it is the fuel screw turned up.

i wonder if it has ever crossed his mind that the CTD driver let him win.

this is one of the best comments in the thread:

i wish someone in a cummins would race my jetta, everytime i get a chance they seem to think i'm not serious or something. that or they're scared cause my little engine puts out more smoke than theirs.

LOL

Put the VW in the right lane and the driver never see who won the race. Or see much of anything else.

LOL The things that goes through those kids heads Maybe it's just me but I find those postings funny to read...maybe if they raced a Cummins, or even a Diesel pick-up for that matter that was actually "tuned up" (not sure what they considered tuned up...maybe new air filter??) then they might think twice

What the kid didn't mention was that the truck was pulling a 15k lb. trailer behind it...

What he forgot to mention: "...it was dark so I couldn't tell, but it turns out the 3 cars behind it were actually on a trailer attached to it."

But yea the dodge cummins 24V turbo are amazing trucks, lol I love pulling into a truck stop with a 3500 Dodge Dully Work truck, and get out to get some fuel conditioner and then rip it out of there with open exhaust........

They obviously have NO idea what they are talking about...What I would do to see the look on the kids face when I smoke him and he knows that my tranny is completely shot

Cummins, the most efficient engine.... at converting diesel fuel into noise!!! Laughing
I always thought 2 cycle Detroit Diesels were the most efficient one at turning diesel fuel into noise.

That silly man or boy. I have a diesel jetta that I drive 50 miles to work and back almost every day....love it for the fuel efficiency, but my Cummins will smoke it with a flat tire....in reverse.....in 4x4 low.....1st gear

Thanks that has to be the funniest thing that I have read in weeks. I've driven a "tuned" diesel rabbit with a larger than stock turbo and I would have to say that that thing was ................... not that fast.
