Anyone here know if an 88' 6.6 diesel will handle an exhaust brake in stock form or will I have to change springs.

6.6 Inline truck engine?

Don't ever recall seeing one of those inlines with a brake, might want to talk to a rebuilder.

Yea, 6.6 inline. I know the 7.8 will handle an exhaust brake but not sure about the 6.6.
