Dad's 93' with 28' gooseneck wieghs like 12,000 lbs together. Never had any of the other trucks weighed. I smell a slow day project.

The reason for the increase in weight between the 2nd and 3rd gens is not the options, but the stronger/thicker frames and bigger/heavier axles.

My 1996 Dodge CTD, Extended Cab, LB, 4X4, Auto weighs 6,824 lbs. with full fuel and me in it. I haven't weighed my 2006 yet, but I know it will be heavier than the 96'.
