Ford Did Something Great

They made a great commercial ad for their heavy-duty truck.

Though their truck may have problem this year throwing flames like NASCAR

They sure scored (in my opinion) with their exploded view of the truck in the TV ad.

Chrysler or GM didn’t come close, but it seems that they didn’t have to.

It must have cost a pretty penny making that commercial and a bunch for all the recalls.

Though I prefer a Dodge Cummins, I still feel for our cousin Ford. I hope they pull away from the problems they are having.

Regards
Tom

yeah, but that commercial says they added more capacity by lengthening the rear springs.

lenghtening springs won't add capacity, but it will add flex, or it will have a rough as heck ride to keep those longer springs from sagging with all that extra weight on them.

I noticed when the ad ran, the announcer states that it will tow 24000 lbs.
Did anyone else notice that the badge on the truck was a 450?
Im sure there wil be someone watching the ad and get a lesser version then complain they cant tow as advertised.
Just my HO.

they also show it being loaded with a huge, supposedly 6000 lb motor, but the truck doesn't move when the load is set on it....

Hmmmmmmm......I'd hate to ride in that one

My buddy has one. He had to put airbags on it allready so it can be leveled out with his trailer on. He has 53ft, 5th wheel, when he puts 3 cars on it will squat bad.

54' ?? Only as long as a semi trailer. Being pulled by a pick-up, no wonder it squats.

Youre right they did do something great. They added a flame throwing self destruct feature to this years model.
