I live in a townhouse development and I got to talking with the foreman of the lawn service. He's got a Ford 6.0 (it's an H.O., not sure if they make a non-H.O. 6.0) and was telling me in the stock configuration it puts out 53psi of boost. In my head I was thinking that's B.S., but just nodded my head and said wow. So, does anyone know how much the boost is? I can't imagine anything more than 25psi.

maybe he's looking at the oil pressure gauge?

 

53lbs wow didnt know that the powdered metal rods in the 6.ohh could handle that much. 27-28 is max. You should of asked if he has head studs in it as well, I bet he doesnt even know what those are.

 

Well most likely he was right but his reading is 56 in. hg. which would be more realistic .

 

the 03s, 04s run 22-23 pounds of boost stock. i hear about 28-29 with a good chip in there. the 05's have a boost guage in the tach, but i don't know if the boost/power was upped.
