Ill bet I pump more fuel than any of you guys!!! lol just kidding. I work for a trucking company that doesnt let their drivers fuel. Too many spills, anyway we go thru 2 truck loads of fuel a day. I roughly fuel between 25 and 150 trucks a day depending on loads going out not to mention refrigerated trailers. fun fun Now imagine standing inside a non heated building that has no doors and is built so the wind runs right thru it, and standing there ALL day long fueling a nonstop line of trucks and trailers as well as doing a safety check on them as well. Thankfully im not out there every day!!

Shake it more than three times and your playing with it. Oh wait this should have been posted on page 2.

And remember - neveragain says to keep the nozzle "up hill".

Well I tried the finger over the hole trick tonight and guess what. It worked great! Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to tell my dad.

I tried the finger over the hole and it didn't work at all. The pump kept shutting off.

I fuel twice a day and sometimes three times. Somehow I have been missing out on all this fun. I just did not realize that it was so difficult to fuel a Dodge. Now I must be backwards, but I just stick the nozzle in the tank, fill it up, after it clicks off, just pull it out so that the hole does not get fuel in it and fill it slow till I can see fuel in the filler neck.

I will have to reexamine this fueling problem. I must not be doing it right. I never had a particular problem getting the fuel in the tank...
