Car of the Year

I know it is Motor Trend but worth mentioning. DC's is always playing "Catch me if you can!".

Chrysler has become the styling leader of the world (IMHO, a title taken from BMW who THREW it away when Bangle started to design).
There is a 300 parked in a business lot next to an intersection that I take to get home every day. And every day, while at the light I stare at it. At once imposing and asthetically pleasing, aggressive and debonair at the same time.

It started in the 90's with the Ram and just continues with every new model they put out. Now if they can only get their quality and reliabilty on par with the rest of the benchmarks, they will become one of the premier companies in the world. And now that they've taken a page from Ford and nodded back to their OWN design history with the new R/T, we'll see what they can do with it.

i have to agree, ive loved dodges since 1968 when i first bought my first

440/4 speed charger very hot car.

anyways dodges slipped into making garbage like most everyone else in the 80's.

all i owned then was 2 ford trucks.

then in mid 90's i bought 2 dodge rams's one 3500 dump, and one 2500 to drive around in

definately dodge is making a come back since i just bought another of there trucks in the last 6 months

Don't laugh too hard, one is already sold and if I can get the other one running right again, it may very well be down the road too. I went and drove a new 04 with 8 miles on it and it felt like I was sitting on a vibratory roller packing asphalt so that is out too.

His '99 seems to be posessed by the ghost of Murphy.

He's had more problems with that one truck since spring than most of the site members put together.

Over $16000 dollars spent since March and it is broke down in the car port again. Was only on the road for 3 1/2 months. I'm getting tired of that crap.

My 2004.5 has just over 16K and it still runs great no problems. It's only been to the dealer once for a leaking thermostat gasket and computer reflashes. It averages 17 mpg on the interstate at 70 with 4.10's. I'll keep mine.

Joel it's time to upgrade to an 05 anyway. You need a sunroof

I drove a new one with auto trans and I won't have one of them until they get that vibration problem resolved.
