Prep Work?

I was wondering what exactly needs to be done to run bio diesel in my truck and tractors. Just change the filters early a couple of times. or do i need more extensive preperation. I would like to be able to run b100. Anybody out there run fuel from canola or soybean oil yet.

Just start with a fresh fuel filter and carry a spare. I did not experience the clogged filter issue but I got the truck with only 10K on it.

I haven't ramped up to B100 but there are many who do and report no problems (so far). It's tempting at the current fuel prices.

I'll probably not go over B20 until some serious miles are racked up by the guys running B100 or Cummins says it's OK. I don't want to have my motor grenade at 120K miles.

I've been running B-100 for 4-1/2 years; I stuffed two filters within 5,000 miles when I started using it in my 100,000 mile Dodge. Two proactive filter changes in the next 50,000 miles with no problems.
