Off road Diesel

Off road Diesel

Will running off road diesel in the 5.9 cummins hurt anything??? Or is anyone running it in their trucks. I made a mistake and put the off road in my truck pulled up to the wrong tank at work and was talking to a guy and was not paying attention to what fuel i was adding. Just checkin if this will hurt my motor. thanks Some guys said its actually better for the moter others say it will hurt the motor. information needed fast. thanks

The off road diesel will not damage your engine in any way..

But if you get caught with the red dye, you're going to be in trouble.

run the truck til its pretty much running on fumes then fill up, do this about 2 or 3 times and change the filter and you should be ok, 1 cup can taint 500 gallons from what ive read.

for "off road" use only its great. dont let the man catch you with that...accident or not they nail ya. i wouldnt sweat it though. like mentioned above run a few tanks of reg #2 and change your fuel filter and you should be good to go

The ONLY differance between the 2 is red is still lsd and on road is ulsd. In just a couple of years they will have to change the "off road" to ulsd as well. It will hurt absolutely nothing.
