Payback.

There is a degree of payback happening in the area where I work which is largely Hispanic. Two motorcycle cops are working in tandem watching for traffic infractions. Upon observing an infraction, they pull the offender over and ask for license, proof of insurance and registration. If any of the aforementioned documents is missing the vehicle is impounded. I've seen the police nail twenty drivers in maybe forty-five minutes. It costs $400+ to retrieve an impounded vehicle here. A legal Hispanic co-worker who incidentally is incensed by some of her illegal compadre neighbor's behavior, loves it.

My friends have told me that cheap Mexican diesel is getting hard to find here in Juarez. One friend had to go to four different station before he could fill up, and then they would only let him fill his stock tank.

Rockcrawler is correct. It is the Mexican Federalies who put the stop on the sales to Boats down south. Of course they were buying 100,000+ gallons at a time and coming back here to pump onto other boats.

Funny how swiftly the Mexican Goverment acts compared to our own group of ding bats in Washington. Illegals have been draining our system for 20+ years and we can't decide wheather to close the border or not.......

I will also wait a few weeks at least. Maybe even a month or two. I will post up when I go. Hope anybody here posts up as well.
Things should settle down and as long as it is kept quiet it will be no problems again. I didn't live in the border area but I know the same thing happened in the late 70's with gas.

you can thank the bleeding hearts in government that are pushing all of these things so they, the polititions, can pad their retirement pockets with mexican votes. look at Nancy Poloski's (sp?) record. the mexican government is just taking advantage of what we give away.

Too bad we can't stop them from using all our government aids that cost us and our government many millions every year.

Yeah, raise there prices and it will stop and then they can join in on the fun with the rest of us in the USA..... There consumption will go down and our prices will fail due to less of a demand.

I just filled up in Tecate today 65 gallons. I had no problems at all, but my tank is under the bed. No lines either to fill up. Diesel did go up to 6 pesos a liter now.

What brand of replacement tank are you using? I've got a reg.cab which I was under the impression shared the same platform as the QC shortbeds. Thanks.
