Hey, Rockcrawler, how do like your Quadzilla Mielage Max? how much more mpg did you get? Better power? Why Quad over Edge?
Do you use your truck for towing & rockcrawling?
What do you tow?
Let'e enjoy Pemex while we can!

I am happy with the Quad MMM. I gained a good 1.5 to 2 MPG with it. No difference in power or anything else. It is my first just because it came out first. I use the truck for towing the Jeep (and as DD) but have not done much crawling lately. I plan on buying a 5th wheel this year as long as the Mexico diesel stays available. (crossing fingers) I may be selling the Jeep to help fund the 5ver!

Well round trip again. CBP gave me some "static" over making multiple trips. Full search and the standard 10-20 questions on my way back. It's kind of crazy that I went through the diesel faster than the DosXX.

LOL
I went today again. First transfered my 75 gallons to 55gallon drums. I heard it is getting harder here in Juarez because they are running out as fast as they can get it!! I figured I better get what I could. The CBP was supprised I got filled up when I told them I was there getting diesel. This is not going good anymore

Supply is the biggest issue. They are also saying they will no longer fill the aux. mounted tanks. Not sure if it is because the supply is low, or if they just do not want to let it get low after the supply is back up. Juarez has had supply issues for about 3 weeks now
I may be looking into bio now.

Hey, SD Horse guy-
Have you run into further supply or limit problems? Not filling bed tanks?
That seems like it is getting to be Pemex border policy.

Good thing I picked up fuel last weekend...roughly $1b in damages from hurricane Dolly. I'm sure this will slow the deliveries of Pemex.

I just filled up in Tecate today. I had no problems filling up. Its so funny when I get to about 150 liters they start scratching their heads and start looking under my truck and on the other side to figure out where all the diesel is going.

Hey, Mickey,
How did you find that?
It would not surprise me if the Mexicans find a way to stop Americans with big fuel tanks from filling up. Got to be costing them 10's of millions. CBP is into it too, now limiting us to just in bed tanks, which may also come with a dose of search harrassment, all becase we are trying to save money on fuel.

Yup. They get free health care. Drive with no insurance. Drive cars that do not pass emissions. Commit crimes and get nothing more than a slap on the wrist, and NEVER get in trouble or harrased by our LOE's.

We try to save a few bucks and they stop it right away and have no formal laws to back it up!
