NO WAY!!! The friction modifiers and other additives in ATF will eat your CP3 or VP44. Stick with recommended fuel additives (Howes, Stanadyne, Lubtec, etc etc.) or Biodiesel if you want to clean the system.

trust me I haven't, my father in law had some o rings go out in his filter housing on his PS 7.3 (i posted in the help section on this yesterday) the dealer claimed it was from USLD breaking it down, so I started drilling him on lubricates. he said he uses PS and then I started talking about 2 stroke oil and he said his friend that works for the forest service said to put tranny fluid in and I said no way. but I am no expert so I thought I would ask. the dealer charged him for 3.5 hours to change the o rings in the filter housing, which i think is extremely excessive!!! THX for the help!

Back in the day.... running the road when diesels first started being used we used to pu Tranny fluid in the fuel but that was in the 70s and early 80s ...

it would get you up and over the mountians and the WEST BY GOD VIRGINIA AND WESTERN MD hills...

it was cool for a while the trucks had straight pipe stack (single)and you would have (at night) a pretty BLUE and ORANGE Flame out the top...and sparkles(bits of the turbo) commin out

THAT STUFF IS BAD FOR YOUR MOTOR !
