3 yr old WVO okay to process into bio?

I found a Chinese restraunt that will give me 300 gallons of WVO and the grease dumpster it's in for free. The only problem is it's 3 yrs old. It's really stinky and nasty! I figure it's probably loaded with bacteria but will that hurt anything?

Hm I wouldnt do it. Apparently when it goes rancid it doesnt react well. You would get a lot of goop and not much bio. From what Ive read anyhow..
You could always grab a gallon or two and do a test run

Definitely test it first.
When rancid WVO is used bio yields can be very low to nonexsistant.
Just because it's three years old doesn't necessarily mean WVO has gone rancid, many cooking oils contain preservatives.
Smell is a very good indicator though.
