How much WVO/Bio can you run per quarter w/o paying road taxes? What are the road taxes that you pay after this minimum amount? What forms do you have to fill out to validate that you are running legal fuel in case you get dipped?

 

Dont know the VA state law but my understanding from the NC revenue agent that fined me was that the federal gov. wants road tax on any and all blended or alt. fuels.

Form 637 (activity letter "M") is the Application for Registration with the IRS.

Form 720 is the IRS' Quarterly Federal Excise Tax Return.

I can tell you the IRS fine is $1000 along with your local state fines. So it is defenitly worth doing correctly.
