You come up with every excuse in the book.

When someone in the Cummins camp beats another Cummins powered truck, and someone complains, you say spend more money, or quit whinning, now Banks beats the Cummins, and you say things like, It just shows how deep his pockets are, or It's not a real truck.

I have yet to see an 8, or 9 second truck with all the original frame and body parts. So get over yourself already.
Who cares? I like the Duramax and the Chevy truck. I prefer Dodge because of certain features, and I like the way they look better. I don't care if your truck can beat mine across a 1/4 mile track by a tenth of a second. ...and the last I checked, my manhood is still the same length regardless of whether your truck is faster or not.

You wonder why some of the guys here are defending their trucks, yet you are the one on a Dodge site, with a Chevy truck coming here on purpose to start BS. Now has your manhood gotten any longer since the Duramax hit that new speed level or are you just as short as you always were?

Can you folks not see that even though Banks has a large budget, that this is still a great accomplishment? Seriously... it ran that fast producing NO smoke. Now I like smoke just as much as the next guy, but you have to realize that he's not just talking out of his rearend when he says that smoke is just power out the tailpipe. Yes, a lot of the Banks stuff seems overpriced, and I also choose to get my power elsewhere, but you have to remember that engineering comes at a price. Banks stuff is actually engineered, not just slapping things together and putting a large price tag on it. Now before you get all excited, I'm not saying that every company out there does that, but from an engineering standpoint, Banks does their research. They put a lot of R&D into this truck, and it is a very large success. Why can't people just put jealousy behind them and accept the fact that this guy is at least trying to improve diesel performance, and succeeding at it!

I agree with you. I think it's a pretty decent accomplishment to achieve that kind of speed with ALL of the things combined you mentioned. Especially doing it without making smoke. To me, that is a big deal. It's not an easy task yet they did it. Kudos to them.
