LOL, sorry questions get me side tracked.

The end of the day like anything more money typically gets you a better product. With the twins sets we build, the amount of money for our time / labour is the same on inexpensive turbos as it is on expensive turbo's, so extra money just goes into better parts. So it all comes down to "How much do you want to spend?"

I was thinking as far as the shiny part, powder coated air tubes, and compressor covers to match the truck, ceramic coated hotsides, easy to clean and very

I just measured the inside of a 50mm wastegate. Its 43mm internal diameter, just about the same size as the entire volume of a T3 turbine inlet flange

Personally, Brett and Mike have done their homework and build it the way you want it. They can help tune it too so I don't know if I would just order a box of parts and throw it on, they would help tune that anyway..( I have no financial ties what so ever )

I can buy the new II set for $4200.00 or a BD R700 set for $4250.00. I'm trying to stay under $4500.00 because I want to reserve some $$ for tips if need be. What you guys think. Be honest and tell me to get bent if need be. I have big shoulders...

We can definitely make something work in that price range.

Mike is the costing guy, so he will have to put together a couple options, and we will go from there.

GT35 is $1200 (maybe cheaper if we buy two). 92mm turbine S400 is $1200. Steed Speed manifold with wastegate stand is $700. So you're looking at $3100 in hard parts. If you go with the cheaper S400, you'd be right around $2500. Have to add in a wastegate as well, which is in the $250 range depending on size and brand. Not sure what ASW is gonna charge for the labour, but I am betting it would still come in under budget.

Sounds about exactly what I was thinking, was just going to get Mike to get some hard current quotes on turbo's.

What would the plumbing look like compared to all the other kits? Is it hard to plumb in the coolant to these turbo's? Will this kit mate up to the 4" exhaust? How do I get ahold of you guys to bs some more about options and such?

Coolant plumbing is easy. It just ties in between the heater core and the block on the return side. If you use braided teflon like what half of mine is, it looks quite nice too.

What type of gate you want to run Jamie? Need a gate and an expansion bellows. Then a controller device. Still think you'll be around your magic number.

We can chat on Saturday at the GTG.

Just thought I would post some video of the spoolup on my setup, the video is kinda shitty, the road was bumpy. 6th gear 2000rpm roll into throttle to about 2/3's. Smarty on Sw-4.

This is a 62/71 over 74/88, no wastegates, secondary turbine wheel trimmed

Goatbrain, Looks like the V-band on the turbine end was machined off. I would have left it on. Makes installation easier. Bolted flanges are nice and I use them myself, but V-bands are so much easier.

How much load you have on the primary? Looks like a sweet set-up.
