Twins, Twins, Twins, Twins, Twins............
Twins installed and just about ready for test drive:

Tate getting to do tow duty after 3rd gear went bang:

I will try and get an overview shot of the final install engine bay soon, thought that Trevor had one, but we must have been so excited to go for that test drive that we didn't get there.

Tate present.............................and something goes bang.
Hhhhhmmmmmm. Seems to be getting to be a common denominator in that statement.

Tate's always been a great help to all -- from me, thanks for all the info over the years.

That trailer was getting some use for sure. Still has some heavy parts on it, little less after ripping on it yesterday.
Tate does help out a lot. The "pusher" helped me with a fix yesterday.

That was on the first hoods up pull of the night, it made 7300rpm. :P
I would like to say a BIG Thanks everyone who helped this come together in such a short amount of time! Brett, Tate, Mike and the whole crew, somewhat patient GF's and Wives included, it was a blast. Too bad transmissions break sometimes.

Thanks for coming down and helping rip and tear on it. Other than my red neck and a bit of blood loss, it was a good day. Got some more stuff off it today, just need a place to dump the diesel out of that botched tank. Anyone want some free diesel?

Now to just get the G56 fixed up, and your back in business.
Should pull **** good with the extra turbo.
That does look good & thanks for the pics. It looks like that truck went together way quicker than mine did!
I'm surprised that the G56 let go as those are holding up qute well even though I prefer my NV5600.
I do see an aftermarket clutch fluid reservoir so I'm sure the lame stock DMF & clutch are long gone.
What were you guys doing when it broke 3rd? Did the rear tires lose contact with the ground?
That tach needle looks like the 2006 Dodge Ram cluster gauge issue that is common. The tach quits working & the fix is a new cluster from Chrysler.
Interesting install on the fuel pressure gauge sender. Geno's has a really nice polished aluminum piece with a 1/8" NPT port. So much better than the plastic piece.

It has a SB DD clutch, tires barely chirped in second, and did not give at all on that hard / fast 2-3 shift. It is not a big power truck, but it is heavy and has lots of traction. It dyno'd 434whp iirc, back in May on the stock charger and SSR, it was probably only about a 450whp tune when it broke 3rd gear.
I saw the geno's garage piece, but for $60 and having to wait a week or so to get it, the 3 min of: Remove, drill, tap, clean, thread tape, re install, was a better option for us.
Yes it has the infamous 2006 cluster issue, thankfully as Tate pointed out he has an '07 mega cab CR one to try in its place.
I also wanted to point out that pictures are a little deceiving, there is quite a bit more room between the battery and the cold pipe, more so then what it appears in the pictures. We installed the battery with the cold pipe already in place. The reason for the boot around the pipe, is Trevor doesn't have any battery hold downs, and rather then risk having a battery jump up on the test drive, we just decided to do a quick fix.

Tate has finally come out of the closet about his love of common rails, big cabs, and short boxes. This was the best way he could come up with to let everyone know.
I think he even took some pics of it last night, when we were doing some minor trimming mods.

Its a total parts doner. When I saw it on Wed, its on a trailer and we pulled what was left of the cab off to keep the frame/gear. Lots of dash parts if you need that sort of thing. Too bad they PO cut the hell out of the firewall on the pass side or the heater box would still be useable as would the fuel tank.
Just floor and firewall left to scrap.
