You can get the universal kit or specific kits for most of the popular trucks that will have the wiring harnesses for the heater control and blower relay.

When I bought mine, the 2nd gen kits were discontinued. Mine was a universal kit, fit well on my quad cab long box truck.

That sucks that the 2nd gen kits are not available. I may just end up buying a webasto then, we sell them at my shop and have put many TSL17's on.

Maybe that's why I got the universal kit. I know we were specific in the truck kits to buy when we got them.. We ordered 1 Frod, 1 GM and mine all at the same time.

Thats what Cummins told me, atleast. I seen the instructions for the 2nd gen kits and where they placed the timer, I like my location much better than down on the passenger side foot well.

I put my timer in the stock holder just in front of the 4wd shifter under the dash.

well I bring up a old thread, thinking with driving all over the place with hockey in the winter for the kid, skiing and even at work during the day it might come in handy. what kind of prices are all you "hookup" guys seeing this year?

I assume even if I trade the mega of in 5 years that it would easily fit into the next truck with new hoses etc.
