Espar, Proheat, Webasto..........
I sell them cheaper then that.
Also on the internal vs external fuel pumps, Espar still sells both varieties the external is just a more flexible setup, they also sell a unit with an external water pump. It really just depends on application. All of the 3rd gen dodge kits use an internal fuel pump kit, all of the other truck kits use and external fuel pump kit. Lots of options and varieties.

Cool stuff. I guess I'll have to talk to you when I have the funds for one
.
I did an install that we used a 5L windshield washer tank. This will provide a calculated 8hrs of minimum run time (in reality it was more like 12hrs) or about two weeks of preheats in the morning. The two liter pop bottle should give you a minimum of 3.5hrs of run time.
I have a number of customers, that run a separate fuel tank for their Espar's as this allows them to run kerosene, which runs much better at below -25c, as well as it doesn't carbon up the heater nearly as quickly as diesel does.

Didnt even consider it until now - it probably sounds stupid but now Im second guessing myself. What do you guys think?
They mount the tank under the hood?
Thanks BTW Brett!

WHOA.....should have went 1 size smaller eh?
I just put my espar on my truck a couple weeks ago and wow why don't these trucks come stock with them. I let it run for about 45 min and its at 130'F it took two of us to put it in, in under two hours and paid 1100$ for it.. well worth the time and money
Not enough evaporative fumes from Diesel, not sure on Kerosene. My question is that if you use these other fuel storage units, is it legal? I get enough safety clowns asking questions about the heater never mind showing up with a washer tank (not fuel rated) full of mystery fuel... They are concerned about me running the heater on site, but leave their trucks running.
I have to explain how controlled the Espar is to any bumps in fuel or burn temp.
Tight fit Doc..

no kidding tight fit!!!
tate and i got the espar d5 installed pn my truck. took a hell of a long time, but it's done right and done well. the thing works as advertised on initial observations - we'll see how it works day to day now. the timer seems pretty straight forward, just have to do some reading and play with it to get it all figured out.
thanx again tate, huge help with the install - it would have taken me at least twice as long with you there. i don't know about you, but i needed a drink after that day was done - enjoy your CR!!!
