There seems to be a quite a few failures on the electric water pumps. Some not even lasing 50 miles. I'd just run a clipped pump if you are worried about parasitic loss. Plus, then you don't have to try to find another custom belt.

You probably could get away with running a smaller radiator. Kev, with you spray in so much nos, you might not need a intercooler. If you look at the pictures for Dr performance truck, they don't have intercooler. We could take some measurements and see what air temperature you have at the base of intake manifold. If its not doing anything for ya, removing them could save a few pounds.

5 in -> 7in hood stack. The S595, would have a very large exhaust outlet flange. I bet it would rumble some.

Sorry to bud in here with nothing constructive - I know less than nothing at the level you guys are operating at. But I am always willing to learn.

Just wanted to say that the way that all of you have come to Kevin's aid is pretty impressive. Congratulations.

Good luck and happy building. I would love to be there when all of you and your knowledge come together, and of course to see this rig make a pass.

We are just smoothing out a few little wrinks, next time we come to the track its gonna be a decent show. Not all of us have the steelies to drag race like kev can (like all out). Everyone scatters a motor once in while, its drag racing. You just come back with more, next time.

I'm sure I'm missing part of the sequence of events from the buildup of Kevin's truck to the engine failure at the track....

Was any time spent on the dyno, tuning the truck & breaking in all the new parts?

Any test passes or 1/2 passes down the 1/4 mile prior to going for it?

Just curious... Joe

LOL... I kinda figured but I was asking nicely!!

So the engine went together, everything was set on kill & Kevin went for it???

My bank account won't support me doing that!!
I was even too chicken to load anything more than level 2 on my Smarty during last springs AFI Dyno GTG.

...Joe
