I just swapped out my pile of crap moog balljoints with Dynatracs last weekend. No more shimmy/death wobble and the truck actually steers nice now! Best money I've spent on this pile in a while...

if it helps any, cost is about 100$ each for ball joints, unless you have an in with a local parts dealer, my experience has been really moog or XRF last about the same.
Carli makes ball joints but they are expensive!, they are susposed to never wear out.
also dynatrac makes a ball joint that is cheaper (than carli) and should it wear out you can "rebuild " it in the truck and it cost I thought I read about 100$ for the rebuild kit

I just seached for dyna track, last time I looked I could have swore they were only around 600$ a set of 4, it lookes like a price jump!, when I was a courior I did quite a few sets of ball joints on at lest 4 different trucks, orginals or replacements only seems to last 1-1.5yrs, so depending on your use I guess that would be the deciding factor on cost vs longevity

here was that link

here is the carli link, if I read right they are 450$ each!!!

I tried buying the Carlis but the only dealer here in Alberta told me they were on backorder with no idea when the next production run would be Thats why I went the dynatrac route.

If you want Carli's, get hold of Craig at Baja North in Kamloops.

Tell him Jeff from Sundre sent you, he will look after you. I've known these guys for years they are beyond top notch!

Swap in king pins for the price of those ball joints.
