5th Gear Nut Tool
Well the silverbullet is on, as is the 4" cobbled together exhaust...
Need to do some afc adjusting, as even with the starwheel half way tight it still fuels to hard at low boost. Might have to put a stiffer gov spring in it.
Made 50psi without any trouble, still have a steady haze, and the pyro still goes past 1600 degrees, but it does take a lot longer to get there.
Going to check for boost leaks tonight after work, and do some more afc tuning. Still has the cupped washers and the full barrel, so there should be a little more fuel left in it as is.
For just a 215 pump, stock dv's, stock rack plug, stock injectors, it seems to fuel not too bad.

Its pretty cool that you can't clean-up the smoke with stock silver bullet 66 on a near stock 97 truck (except the 4gsk springs), maybe we should change that stock silver bullet so you can actually move some air or go to the twin plan

I'm thinking your ride is almost as fast as Tate's dually. We should go down to Race City for a Friday night of fun with our rides.

I thought the 215 pump worked pretty decent considering the almost lack of mods. An almost stock truck (except the turbo) making around 450-500rwhp. There not even injectors in the truck.
Might have to get Tate to turn those barrells on that 12v 98 of his...
I was impressed on how solid the truck handled the road in comparision to my trucks. Very nice Truck Brett you came a long ways in a short time, hopefully your trip to Van and back goes smoothly.

Home safe and sound. The silverbullet is a monster on the hiway, but takes some finesse at my current afc settings around town. Made 50-52psi and passing a dream, other then then now slipping clutch and a slight haze. Driving around chilliwack at 33' ASL it made 55 - 57psi and perfectly clear.
Have a few more things that need to be addressed, but nothing major. All in all it was a good trip, and the truck was nice to drive.

So you want to try a different combo out or you staying with the silver bullet? Twins you should be over 60psi and have instant boost. Might need to get in those studs soon.
Just in the little ride I had in the truck, it seems that your truck spools up that turbo better than Tate's truck running his 215 pump. I wonder if its from the timing or from the adjusted barrells that makes that turbo lite better.

I am always willing to try other combos.
Not sure how much data we will get from another combo with the clutch like this, but we will give it a shot.
Meh if the head gasket goes, there are a few heads being O-ringed right now, I will just put one on, and stud it then.
