Buckets vs. Bench
Years ago I happen to have buckets in a vehicle and one of my kids jumped in while I was cleaning it. He had a sharp object in his back pocket. Later when I went to have it repaired and was shocked by the price, I found out the price for the bench style would have made me stained by pants. I only buy buckets now.
Something to consider.

I ordered my Laramie 2 weeks ago and am getting the bucket seats. photos of the trucks with other seats (no console) looked like they had cup holders that folded down out of the dash. Thats what I have in my '98 and I hate them. Rattle rattle all the time if they are folded out. Sure they have improved but I like having the console cup holders and all the extra storage places. With just me and my wife in there most of the time the buckets will suit our needs best I think.

I am talking about bucket seats with a auto tranny and the auto's shift lever being in the consol.
My son has a 4x4 Hemi/buckets/auto/consol mounted shifter!
So I presumed it would be the same on a 2500 Laramie 2wd.....they say NO---coloum shift lever. Dang I really like the way my son's looks.
Has nothing to do with 4wd
