Has any improvements been made on the 2010 Mega Cab air conditioners?

I have a 2006 Mega Cab and will be going to the local dealer looking at the 2010's. I hadn't been happy with the blend doors and the performance of the air conditioner. My compressor was replaced last week after the ac clutch went out. I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow to look at the 2010's again.

I went on some LONG test drives before buying. I used every switch, button, etc... Drove on the highway, sidestreets, windows up, windows down, over railroad tracks, parked it, etc....

I highly recommend you do that. You'll pick upon the subtle improvements of this 4th gen if you do. Then there will be no turning back.

This really is a much better truck then our 3rd Gen's. And I LOVED my 3rd gen.

Good luck!

It is a better truck as I drove one last week. BUT my '06 will be paid for next year. I saw floor vents coming out from under the front seats on the Crew Cab.

Yep -- was in the same situation as my 2005 was paid for... Back to the "payment" drawing board...

my ducts in my 2010 mega seem to blow the same no matter what setting the blower is on...only affects the front vents....

If this normal, or should i take it in for service?

I believe that is normal, because my 2010 is the same way.
