Tpms
Tpms
I'm sure this has been asked 6 million times but is there anyway to bypass the TPMS? I have 35x12.50x20 toyos on a 2010 dodge and every time i get in it shows up not reading it etc. is there anyway i can get around this? thanks
just a quick question, did those tires fit without making modifications ? I also have a 2010 4x4 and am trying to determine what is the largest size tire I can install without making modifications.
Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I'll be interested in the answer for future use on my truck

I put a leveling kit on the truck, but the tires are the toyo open country mts 35x12.50s and the rims are the xd series monsters 20 x 9 (not sure on offset). i had these on my 07 dodge and they didnt rub at all. I put them on the 2010 this past weekend and only the driver side rubs the plastic in the inner fender closer to the cab side. The passenger side doesnt rub at all, so im a little confused on that. But if it wasnt for the rubbing they would of fit perfectly

Im gonna have to defend Dodge on this one, its not their doing. All vehicles from 2008 and up have it that are under 10,000lb GVWR. The federal government mandated it.

You can on many of the wheels.. the issue is that most oversize tires run lower pressures than the computer wants. From what I gather you can't set a baseline pressure on the dodges, unlike my Toyota which let me set any psi I wanted as based down to about 26psi.
One thing I have heard about is making a sealed box that holds all 5 sensors and putting it at 80psi, then tossing it under the seat.

Not to say youre not right, just have heard the pressured bottle theory didnt work.
Rear at 45 psi light load, 70 psi non-light load.
In other words when running unloaded, you pressure the rear to 45 psi and make sure the light load button is on, if you drop below 45 psi it will trigger the alarm.
When running loaded, air up to 70 psi and make sure the light load button is off, if you drop below 70 psi in the rear it will trigger the alarm.
I would guess its based on the pressures on the door jam.. My truck has normal and light load pressures.
Now that you mention it I have heard that before.. My Toyota had 5 that were battery powered.
