another TPMS question
When I rotate my tires per the owner's manual, will the sensors somehow know where they are located (front to rear, rear to front) or does something have to be reprogrammed? thks

Had anyone had their windows tinted? I went in to get a quote and they said that since we have TPMS that you have to get a special ceramic tint that is almost double the cost. Final quote was $285 for my crew cab.

Wow....
Thats the biggest load of bull I have heard in a long time.
My '08 and Rog's '10 are both tinted with standard window film.
Someone is really trying to stick it to you.

I would sure like to hear the reasoning for that. Not saying it isn't true, but I sure have no idea why it would be.

They claim that the antenna for the TPMS for the Dodges is in the inside of the cab and the metal based tint would prohibit the reception to the tires. Supposedly Nissan/Toyota are the only truck manufacturers that place their TPMS antenna on the outside of the cab so metal based tint does not interfere.
