Tuning and gauges
Looking to do an EFI live tune on my 2010 mega. The unit sold by the vendor/tuner I'm talking to doesn't have a gauge readout. They are recommending me buying an edge from them along with. This is going to drive up my cost of tune/tuner/and edge (a tuner as well?) to somewhere close to 1800 bucks! YIKES!!!!
What are you guys running EFI live tunes doing to monitor EGT, Boost and Trans temp? What other things would you find important? Fuel pressure, others?

Is there a way to connect up via OBDII or the ecm to get trans temp and boost? I think that's one of the pluses to using a tuner that has readouts. I just don't want to have to by the EFI Live and then a completely separate tuner.

If I'm not mistaken, you HAVE to buy a Bully dog and the optional "unlock" cable to "free" the Dodge ECM so you can install the EFI Live program. I am 100% positive you have to on the 2014 and up trucks, but am not positive when that started. I recently did a 2006, and no unlock was required. May I ask who is writing the tune for you and are you using the 4 position switch to control your power settings? Also, if you have an auto, be 100% sure whoever is writing your tune also address the tranny or.....it will get very expensive very quickly!
